EASTWEST provides news monitoring for clients so that they know what is being written about them. They have the option to also track for their competitors and the industry. This information is collected, analyzed and made available in real time in a dedicated secure on-line library and via customized e-newsletters.
EASTWEST will monitor trade and business media, on line and offline, for coverage of the client. We track for news that EASTWEST or the local agencies have released on behalf of the client and will post that daily onto Connect, our knowledge management system.
For foreign language clippings where translations are required we have budgeted for a certain quantity each month, and past that quantity we will need to quote separately.
All news and articles will be monitored on a daily basis where report will be done as follows:
- All articles will be monitored and reported on a daily basis. All scanned news and articles will be reported by 11.00am
- For Saturday and Sunday news, these will be reported on the following Monday or working day at 11.00am. Monday or the working day’s news will be given priority followed by the news received over the weekend/public holidays.
- For magazines, we will monitor the news and articles coverage as and when we receive the magazines. For bilingual articles (Chinese, Tamils and Malays), headline translation will be provided.
- EASTWEST does not provide hardcopy tear sheet of the article.
- The files are stored online and not provided on CD
